Depending on your body shape and size of breast, it will determine what type of strapping is needed. I still had to wear a bra to feel safe wearing this item. But it does hold the mid section really well.

Normally I can wear a size 1X/2X, but these run a little small so you will need to order a size up. I’ve bought this in black and now I’m waiting to receive another black shaper or a sage shaper in the same size.
